mobile 6 with the latest for you. >> reporter: parentally there's no clicker on the -- apparently there's no clickerrer on the terrace, so if somebody could advance the graphics. we have fog and cloud cover sweeping through. the big story is the fog on the ground. we're looking at a dense fog advisory until 10:00 a.m. where visibilities across the region are down to .1 of a mile. you can see the stores across the street from me, you can barely see them. the visibility in philadelphia is a tenth of a mile and worse up and down the i-95 correspond do in spots -- corridor in spots. areas all the way over to atlantic city and trenton. it's mild, temperatures in the mid to upper 50s across the region. as we go through the day we're looking at a mild one.

has been for sometime now. there are not too many cars on the road along kelly drive. we have seen some, use caution when you head out in the dense fog, the foggy conditions we're talking about driving conditions, i want to tell you about an accident to look out for, i know matt pellman mentioned it as well. the fatal crash on i-95 south tinicum township south of the airport. in that crash one man died, we don't know the age or identity. there were two vehicles involved it flipped over and is sitting up undz -- upside down on the its roof in the marsh. the driver of the other car stayed on the scene. one lane was getting by, all lanes are closed. one left lane has opened back up, there could be back ups in the area. circumstances around that crash are under investigation. the surviving driver did say i

it was foggy at the time of the crash. but the police have not said if the fog was was a factor in the accident. live mobile 6 along kelly drive you can see there's quite a bit of fog. the fog can be unpredictable. some of the spots driving along the blue route it was not as bad as here. the fog is unpredictable. visibility is quarter mile or less at times. use caution this morning at the bus stop. katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> we have brand new information on a deadly shooting in west philadelphia. a third person was hit in the gunfire that left a teen hospitalized and another teen dead. annie mccormick is live with the very latest.

it sounds like it was quite a scene overnight annie. >> reporter: tam, it was, police are trying to sort it out at this hour. the third person you mentioned did suffer a graze wound that's two injured annie mccormick one dead in the shooting. it happened in west philadelphia after 10:30 in the 500 block of north crayton. multiple 911 calls came in reporting shots fired. both victims were 17. the person who suffered a graze wounds we don't have an age on at this point. one who suffered shots to the arm, head and leg he was pronounced at the hospital. the other shot in the tie. shell casings were found on the street. police know about to guns were used. the 17-year-old shot in the thigh ran for his life and tried to get away. >> we followed a blood trail

about two blocks. the victim ran east on by -- wymissing and he ended up running inside a house and people inside the house were total strangers to him. >> and police believe that the 17-year-old who died was the intended victim. they are not sure what the motive is, they have interviewed several witnesses brought to homicide overnight. reporting live at philadelphia police headquarters, annie mccormick channel 6 "action news." >> it is now 6:07. today marks the third anniversary of the sandy hook elementary school shooting. this is the first time that the anniversary has fallen on a school day. officials are hoping the day comes and goes quietly. it will only be mentioned in the middle and high schools, but not the lore grades. the shooter, 20-year-old adam

51 is the temperature in wilmington, a little bit milder in millville. the visibility is the story, yes it is mild, but there's not much wind to disburses the fog. as we look at the region, toms river to trenton and wilmington we have under a half mile visibility. in philadelphia, it's about a tenth of a mile. the darker shades of gray in chester, bucks and montgomery and gloucester and camden and burlington counties are area seeing this. you go south there's no problem at all with the fog. where it is thick it is slowing you down. plan on a little extra time in the i-95 corridor. future tracker 6 shows you once we get rid of the fog, by the way the dense fog advisory expires at 10:00 a.m. this afternoon it's cloudy, sunny breaks, but a lot of clouds out there. after 4:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., we'll have showers building from

the view after philadelphia international airport. you can see we're dealing with a lot of the fog this morning, good idea to go to flight tracker before you head out. we'll be dealing with rain as you head into the 60s today. 68, it's going to be warm. >> reporter: if you're leaving the airport, don't jump on i-95 southbound, if you do you will run into a wall of traffic because of this bad overnight accident in the southbound lanes approaching 420 in tinicum township. there's been improvement, but we have two left lanes squeezing by the accident. but it's causing low speeds 7 miles per hour past the airport. i would use the alternates, 13 chester pike or the blue route or 291. southbound i-95 approaching 420 bad accident a pot you want to avoid. -- a spot you want to

avoid. 295 in port richmond, richmond street was closed friday afternoon they had to postpone it until this afternoon. coming up on wednesday we lose the ramp from delaware avenue to i-95 northbound all part of the on going construction mess along i-95. the crash we're watching in abington easton road at hesston street. one in the lower state road at lime kiln pike. you have to be careful with the accidents because you come upon them quickly with the fog. telford allentown road is shut down because of a crash. county line gets you around that. construction is closing river road route 32 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. yardley morrisville road an alternate around the closure. >> more details are out about a fatal shooting by two deputies in los angeles county.

police responded to a call of shots fired in the town of linwood and caught up with nicholas robertson heading toward a gas station. overnight night we learned the officers fired over 30 shots. his family said the shooting was an excessive use of force. in california police are looking for the suspect in a shooting in a luxury hotel in downtown l.a. police say the shooting began with a fight early sunday at the standard on flower street. four people were taken to the hospital where one died. it is not clear whether the victims were staying at the hotel. >> eagles 230-20 victory -- 23-20 victory over the bills left lesean mccoy frustrated. the eagles held him to 74 yards rushing and no touchdown. he kissed the eagles logo before the coin to toss, but ran off te

across the street let alone city avenue in the distance behind me. without the -- visibility is down to a quarter mile or less in some locations. the worst stuff is from trenton through philadelphia and wilmington and chester and lower bucks and montgomery counties. you can see the visibility maps with the darker shades of gray in the areas i just talked about. and gray in northern montgomery and bucks county. those are the areas where it is at its worse. how about one tenth of a mile in philadelphia. be careful of school kids and parked cars and all that stuff. 54 in philadelphia. 54 in allentown. we're still on the mild side. we're clouding up today and getting milder later on. 56 degrees by 8:00. noon, 67 degrees, and 3:00 p.m., that's the high 69. if we hit that we will tie the

drive along mobile 6 approaching the schuylkill expressway. the disability can get pretty low depending on where you are, you can see where we are, quite a few tail lights in front of us, use caution as you head out the door this morning, while we're talking about driving conditions i want to tell you about the fatal crash that matt mentioned on i-95 south tinicum township south of the airport. one man died in the crash. there were two vehicles involved. one car flipped over and flipped off the road. it's in the marshy area on the side of the road. the driver of the golf remained on the scene. you can see the damage to the left-hand side of his vehicle. look out for lane closures, slow down a lot of investigators working. there was thick fog at the time of the crash, but police have not said that the fog was a factor. foggy conditions we're looking at right now we take a look at henry avenue along the

boulevard. visibility varies depending on where you are, but it's a quarter mile or less at times keep an eye out for pedestrians and joggers, the kids at the bus stop. be careful when you head out this morning, dense fog advice goes until 10:00 a.m. we're live along the boulevard, katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> thanks katherine. following a developing story, a triple shooting in west philadelphia left a teenager dead and two others wounded. annie mccormick is live outside police headquarters with the full story, annie? >> reporter: and matt, initially after the shooting police realized they had a 17-year-old dead and another one critically injured, but it wasn't until late this morning there was a third person that suffered a graze wound. take a look at the video this unfolded after 10:30 last night

in the 500 block of north craton west philadelphia. shots fired to the initial victims they learned about are 17. one shot in the head arm and leg and died at the hospital. the other at the hospital, he lost a lot of blood after being shot in the thigh. shell casings were found on the street, some vehicles were hit. two guns were used, it's not clear what the motive was or who opened fire. >> the 17-year-old victim who was pronounced at the hospital was collapsed on the highway several feet from where those shots were fired, due to the fact he was in close proximity to the ballistic etched due to the fact he was -- evidence and due to the fact he was shot norms times we believe he was

the intended target. >> reporter: that 17-year-old that is in critical condition was running for his life banging on doors on homes in the area, finally someone let him in, strangers that is where he did collapse. again he is at the hospital in critical condition, we're still learning more about the victim who suffered the graze wounds. >> reporting live outside police headquarters, annie mccormick channel 6 "action news." >> now to a developing story in delaware, fire damaged the rental office at the harbor house apartments. that's the second fire they have seen in the last year. firefighters arrived at 2:00 a.m. and knocked down the blaze. the building had to be evacuated no injuries were reported. now the fire at the same complex last year was much worse and authorities say it was intentionally set. it left a woman dead and dozens of residents homeless four days before christmas. a pennsylvania man was charged with arson and murder, police say he set the fire in

his mother's apartment she was the one that was killed. testimony is expected to continue in a trial for a woman accused of being part of a group assault on a gay couple. katherine knott and her friends encountered the couple and spewed profanity laced slurs and then assaulted the couple. her attorney said she did not touch the men. two men pleaded guilty. >> cnn released the lineup yesterday a low showing in the poll bumped chris christie to the under card in the last debate. he heads to the main stage with the other gop contenders. >> a lot of people to get a word in edgewise. >> reporter: no kidding. >> let's turn to accuweather.

>> reporter: the big story is the fog, storm tracker 6 live double scan shows there's no rain, but when you encounter fog on the windshield you'll get drizzle drops on. penns landing is socked in pretty good. all the way from trenton to wilmington that's where the fog is the thickest. 54 degrees in philadelphia. look at how close to the temperature the dewpoint is, two degree spread that's an indication that the air is saturated. we have the ground level moisture producing the fog. winds dropped to 3 miles per hour at the airport. here the visibilities we've improved in philadelphia. we were down to .1 now it's a third of a mile not great. it's low visibility through trenton and lancaster and toms river. in dover, no problems, in the central portion of the region

where the busiest highways are located that's where the fog is at the thickest. slow it down when you encounter the thick stuff. past 10:00 a.m. we're transitioning from mostly foggiy skies to -- foggy skies to cloudy. after 5:00 p.m., we're expecting rain to arrive from the west there could thunderstorms developing within this. between 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., it's unlawful precipitation, occasionally a rurchl rumble of thunder. the last of this gets off the coast tomorrow morning. otherwise it's a mild day, bi11:00 a.m., 65. 68 by 2. if we hit the high we'll thai a record. well -- we'll tie a record. 65 in allentown, 65 in cape may.
